The Workshop Hawthorn

Laz and Andrew

The Workshop Hawthorn located at 5 Russell Street Hawthorn provides all mechanical services and repairs for motor vehicles.

Just around the corner from the Camberwell junction, the friendly and helpful team at The Workshop Hawthorn have been trading in the area for the past seven years.

They offer same day servicing and tune ups on late to new model vehicles, brake, steering and suspension work, diagnostic work, roadworthys, new car servicing (without losing your new car warrantee), electronic fuel systems, clutch overhauls, gear boxes, front end work, air conditioning and electrical work.

Owner Laz Keresztesi says most of the work they get is through word of mouth because they do "whatever it takes to get the job done" and guarantee all work. As well as being a Member of the Victorian Automobile Chamber of Commerce (VACC) and the Institute of Automotive Mechanical Engineers (IAME) The Workshop Hawthorn was highly commended in both the Australian 2000 & 2001 Achiever awards.

Laz has been in the mechanical engineering business for the past fourteen years and holds a certificate for automotive business management. The shop in Hawthorn is very clean and inviting and all service comes with a smile and a good sense of humour.

Hours of operation are Monday to Friday 8:00 to 5:30pm
and bookings are generally required. To contact Laz or one of the mechanics at The Workshop Hawthorn phone 9813 3388 or fax 9813 3032.
